Find a way so that opponents dont score on you at will. Cant say much about offense. Ball been stopping with Kobe just like under Mike Brown. Until Nash comes back looks like thats the way its gonna be on that end... I guess offensively gotta limit turnovers and more ball movement. But defensively limit pick n roll, force the perimeter more, no drives, no easy buckets, no wide open baseline threes, help defense, quicker switches, know who rotates where, play ZONE against a team with more athleticism which is pretty much any team in the league at this point... I dont know man theres a lot to work on

Fourteen teams each year don't make the playoffs, and some teams are constantly in that group (Charlotte, Toronto, Clippers before Blake and Chris Paul, etc).

A penetrating PG who can shoot will solve half their problems. That will ease the load on Kobe, get easier shots for Dwight and cut the turnovers down.

The scary thing is that I don't think Nash is that PG...

How about wait until three players return from injury?
It's tough to be a good team when you institutionalize a new system, have three different coaches and then deal with injuries to new players.

Howard isn't 100%.
Nash has been out for 20 games.
Pau is day-to-day.
Blake is out until February.
Meeks, Jamison, MWP and Hill are role players who are playing starter minutes.
Duhon and Morris is our main PG core.

Seriously though they'll have to make a trade, even if it's a minor trade. Hire a defensive coach in the off season because they ain't winning shit this year
