In his previous 3 games against Boston he scored 39 59%, 41 68%, and 33 50%.

If whatever random tangent and hypothetical situation you are making up were true, Jordan would adapt, and he would adapt extremely fast.

This somehow implies Reggie guarded him every possession of the games, he played 19 and 23 minutes in two of those games

It's like evolution, except on a much larger scale, a Michael Jordan scale. Everyone knows Jordan was a magical angel in disguise of a bald black man. He could shoot with his eyes closed if he wanted and it would still go in every time.

You're implying that MJ would have a similar performance every game in which he was guarded by Reggie? You're also making a baseless assertion, that the league is filled with more athletic equivalents of him.
Reggie played 43.75% of the minutes in the two games you referred to, and yet Jordan dominated. Do you think he'd be guarded by a more athletic Reggie Lewis more than 43.75% of the time, today? That seems unlikely to me.

Re: MJ would be seeing guys like this every night nowadays
2 Things I need to say about this:
1.) Reggie Lewis was damn good. He would be better than every 2-guard in the league today except Kobe and Wade. Overall he was better than the likes of Ray Allen, Ginobili, etc. And his defense was excpetional. Not just any run-of-the-mill athletic guy is Reggie Lewis.
2.) Tony Allen sucks. When are people going to get bored of this flavor of the month already?

Re: MJ would be seeing guys like this every night nowadays
we just had an NBA championship where a 38 year old jason kidd, a 6'2" jason terry, a 5'10" barera, and deshawn stevenson played the majority of minutes at the guard positions. and jordan did fairly well as a wizard versus a younger more athletic shawn marion as well (http://www.basketball-reference.com/...1&p2=mariosh01) (though i don't recall the games in great detail, so i can't say who was guarding MJ).
i'm sure mj would do just fine...
