amare never ever was a willing rebounder. he doesn't try enough, it's that simple really. his fundamentals like positioning also aren't that good.

he averages 0.4 more rebounds for his career more than dirk nowitzki, who gets called the seven feet SG, one dimensional scorer and all-around soft all the time. and you just try to compare their strength and athleticism.

Difference is Dirk is both European and white.
Nobody would call him anything if he wasn't. Sad but true.
