You are probably right about '70...but the reality was, Wilt was the Lakers best player in their last three games of that series (29 ppg, 24 rpg, and on a .709 FG%.) And, of course, had the rest of his teammates shown up for game seven, and they somehow pulled out a win...and perhaps Chamberlain would have received more credit for what he actually had accomplished.... coming back from an injury only four months after major surgery, that, at the time, was a best case scenario, of missing a year...and leading his team back from a 3-1 first round series deficit; a sweep in the WCF's; and then what would have been a come-from-behind series win over a stacked Knicks team in the Finals. All with a 23 ppg, 24 rpg, .625 Finals.

BTW, how in the hell did Reed win that FMVP? He did absolutely nothing in the last three games of that series, and in fact, his team was trailing in game five by 10 points (in a series that was tied 2-2) when he came up lame.
