Bill Simmons is a biased sports columnist. He's not and has not ever been a scout, coach, agent, or anything else affiliated with basketball. He's just a writer, and has been known to say stupid shit from time to time. Embiid is definately not Ibaka. Watch the games and you'll see, don't just take the word of some sports writer and run with it. Ibaka is a jumpshooting forward who plays great defense and blocks a lot of shots. He has little to no post game. Embiid is primarily a back to the basket low post player with great footwork and a variety of moves, and can shoot with either hand, and also plays great defense. The two are really nothing alike.

Adding my own opinion I know but I think Bill Simmons was referring to Ibaka coming into the league not what he's turned into now.
