Colison is a nice guy and I like him a lot, but he hardly plays any more. He is good to keep around as one of those player / assistant coaches, but 5 - 6 million should have been enough for that, not like anyone else was lining up to sign him. It's not a huge difference moneywise, but organization should be penny pinching, they have several young guys to extend soon. OKC front office looked like geniuses when they handed to Colison that front-loaded contract, but after that it's been a series of mistakes for them, as they've ruined a possible dynasty.
