How would the 1996 Bulls fare today - let's use logic to figure it out
.
How would the Bulls fare on 2-pointers in today's game?
They would do much better than the 2015 Grizzlies, who only shot 45% on two-pointers last year... The 1996 Bulls shot 51% on two's - this would be their FLOOR, since the Spurs shoot 51% and the Bulls have superior 2-point scorers than the Spurs.
How would the 1996 Bulls fare on 3-pointers in today's game?
The Bulls shot 16 threes per game in 1996, which is the same as the 2015 Grizzlies - obviously, the Bulls would focus on 3-point shooting much more in today's game than they did in 1996, so they could manage the same 16 threes today, even from the further distance.
How would the Bulls fare defensively?
Remember - none of the Bulls championships teams had a rim-protecting shot-blocker, so the team didn't benefit from the league's legal paint-camping provision as much as other teams.
Instead, the Bulls defense was great because of their PERIMETER defense - they had the two greatest perimeter defenders of all time - accordingly, the team's defense would be enhanced greatly by today's allowable zones outside the paint... This is very intuitive and common sense.
CONCLUSION: The Bulls would be far better on both sides of the ball than the Spurs or Grizzlies.
The Bulls won 6 rings without a legit big man - they dominated with small-ball in a league that wasn't set up for small ball... Naturally, in today's game that IS set up for small-ball, the Bulls would dominate even more than they did in 1996.

I don't know. The Bulls have Jordan, Pippen and Harper to throw at him.
But even if they can't stop him, are the Warriors going to stop Jordan? As great as Curry and the Warriors look right now, I'm putting my money on the Jordan/Pippen in a 7 game series.

When the scrub guarded the MVP in the halfcourt, the MVP shot 0-for-8, missing all five of his three pointers and committing four turnovers. Curry went 3-for-18 when Dellavedova was on the court. Curry could have set the record for most three-pointers attempted in an NBA Finals game with his misses alone, going 2-for-15 from deep. Curry had more turnovers than assists, something he only did once in the regular season. And Delly was guarding him when the Warriors had a chance to win ... and forced an airball:
MJ would lock Curry down much worse than Delladova did - same way MJ locked down the more athletic Isiah Thomas, Gary Payton, John Stockton, Kevin Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Rod Strickland, etc., etc.

No doubt, it would be hard for Curry.
Just imagine if you replaced Iguodala or Barnes with Pippen, how amazing this Warriors team would be, the guy literally made Jordan's career and carried him finals after finals

Curry only had to score 21% of his teams points to win the 2015 MVP and championship, which is far less than MJ's 29-31% for all 6 of his rings.. So Curry was "carried" by his team more than MJ.
Also, the clip below shows rookie Pippen being shoved around - it shows how much development Scottie needed - MJ grew Scottie from a scrawny, weak-minded 7 ppg rookie, into a man:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0f1EsUVCIU0&t=0m24s
But it took MJ four years to grow Scottie up:
1988 Playoffs: Pippen averages 10/5
1989 Playoffs: Pippen averages 10/7 on 40% in ECF, and played 1 min in Game 6
1990 Playoffs: Pippen averages 17 ppg on 42.6% in ECF, including epic Game 7 choke (1-10 for 2 pts)
