Of course I don't really know. But that 76ers starting lineup with Bobby Jones playing significant minutes was extremely talented (Cheeks and Toney were very good guards in their primes).

What stats would those be, since they played in different eras and leagues? It would be a matter of how each team matched up. Both were championship teams. The 83 76ers have two top 15 all-time players are on their teams, both guards where in their prime, Bobby Jones was a GOAT level sixth man, and they beat Magic & Kareem's Lakers in the finals. Mo Cheeks was also a great defensive PG.

I honestly think the only reason Dantley is not talked about/revered more is that he was, from all reports, a big jerk.

    Be nice to others, kids.

Stats tell you nothing at all about how a team from 1983 would do against a ream today.

Kobe duringa 3 year stretch of his peak/prime , his 3 best offensive seasons finished 11th and 7th twice, missing the playoffs and losing twice in the first round.

And he is a consensus top 12 player

Chuck may have been an even more efficient scorer than Dantley in their primes. He shot more 3s on Phoenix. Dude had a 121 offensive rating on Philly.

If Kobe and Lebron could shot more at the same efficiency - they would... But they can't.

So imagine Kobe and Lebron DOING MORE - that's MJ:

How the hell is this even comparable?

Kobe got to the playoffs and lead his team to a plus .500 record( and they likely get the playoffs in 2005 if Kobe, Odom, and Butler don't get hurt). AD teams were struggling to win 30 games.

Dantley never won on any of his play-off teams because he was a selfish ball hog, and was a below average one on one defender. You seen when they traded him, the Pistons won the championship afterwards.

Stats would tell you that prime Moses Malone would destroy Adrew Bogut, Draymond Green, and Festus Ezeli in the post easily though......
