49ers...they actually let you hit people back in the day, they played real football back then. Shots like this on Brady and he would've retired half a decade ago.

Brady avoids both plays because he never holds the ball that long.

Quarterbacks and all players get injured just as much and get just as many serious injuries as they did back then. These are jusy bullshit myths from old has been players that have en axe to grind.

There are all kinds of quarterbacks in the current era that got wrecked very quickly by ink juries.

Hell, Rodgers is hurt like every single year.

So cut the bullshit.

Patriots play in the NFL's softest division (no other team in it has been to the SB since the early 90s), so they not only have an easy path to winning the division, but rack up a lot of easy wins, so usually get a first round bye. Then they are just one home win away from playing in the AFC championship game. And they are 20-3 at home in the B-B era, but only 3-4 on the road.

In the 80s and early 90s, the NFC was much better than the AFC--they won 13 consecutive SBs--so it was much harder to get to the SB, though relatively easy to win once you got there.

49ers had tougher competition.

This current Patriots team has been to 8 straight conference championship games. A good franchise is lucky to get to 2 in 8 years.
