Any good ones recently? Haven't heard of any. Made this thread cuz I just heard Persona 5 is being delayed again and I am wondering where I can get my fix... currently playing valkyria chronicles remastered which is a fantastic game

Try The Legend of Heroes - Trails of Cold Steel. It also has a sequel that was just released in september. It's on ps3 and vita.

Divinity Original Sin is one of the best RPG experiences I've had, AND you can play co-op which is the shit.

If you're looking for an old school, turn-based RPG you could try "I Am Setsuna" on PS4. Plays a lot like Chrono Trigger.

Only other turn-based game I've played lately is XCOM 2. Not really an RPG, but it has some amazing turn-based strategy.

Jrpg's..try out the Tales of series. The recent ones are Tales of Zestria, Tales of Xillia 1/2, Tales of Graces F, Tales of Vesperia, and Tales of Hearts R.
Legend of Heroes games are recommended. Cold Steel series.
Games like Divinity Original Sin..you have Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny which just came out.
The vita has a lot of 1st person dungeon crawlers..like Wizardry type games if you're into those.
World of Final Fantasy is cutesy but brings back a lot of characters from the older games.

I thought 'I am Setsuna' was a let down. It may play like CT, but it's far from being as good as it.

This , play Divinty Original Sin, and play it with a friend co-op is great

Also if you have a pc check out the Shadowrun series.

Shadowrun Dragonfall and Shadowrun Hong Kong are both great.

Tales of Vesperia is probably my favourite game of the 360/ps3 era - it is simple superb in my mind in every area. Tales of Xillia 1/2 were OK, but Graces and Zesteria were absolutely abysmal video games.

Heard I am Setsuna was a let down ya

Yeah, I've got to try this out. I'm a huge South Park fan to, but I've never given video games a chance that are based on shows or movies.
