Second point, Lebron spent years with the Cavs dragging a bunch of D leaguers to finals appearances and deep playoff runs only to have his team quit on him when he needed them most against the magic & celtics.
Sooo then Lebron made an excellent move by getting two good to very good players in Wade & Bosh to join him and as we saw he eventually carried them to a title. But now? Lebron is trying to lead his team to a 2nd straight title and it seems as if ALL the odds are stacked against him. It was supposed to be easy, or at least without much challenge, Lebron's talent deserves more rings and his current situation just isn't fair

Technically you might be correct....
But hypothetically no...
You can play like an all-star and not be voted into that due to various eccentric circumstances... or you can be a guy who does not play better than some guys who hence deserved to be all-stars that year over you, but you still got it over them/him due to your name/past....
The year mr Clutch (Chauncey Billups) won the FMVP, he wasnt even an all-star... and played better than all his all-star teammates who were in their prime / at their best to get the FMVP... after that he got the recognition he deserved from fans and he finally got to be an all-star technically for many years, but that was the moment he hypothetically did become an all-star and he sure didnt play any differentely compared to his all-star years....
Tim Duncan & Tony Parker won FMVP with Manu Ginobili, Parker/Manu were all-stars technically back & forth before and after some championship runs, but they always did play like all-stars during those championship runs, they were in their prime-prime.
Michael Jordan won FMVP with Scottie Pippen.... and Dennis Rodman.... Dennis was not technically an all-star during the mid 90s (shockingly, that is true), but hypothetically yes he was, he wasnt doing anything different than the 2 years he was an all-star.... Toni Kukoc was around there to, the only reason he wasnt an All-Star was due to who he was sharing the ball with.... with a starting spot & minutes (especially if it was a scrub team) Toni Kukoc would have guaranteed been a 20-10-6 guy (+ im a biased Croatian)....
Hakeem Olajuwon won FMVP with Clyde Drexler and Otis Thorpe who was on the all-star team just before the championship runs, but during those runs he was actually playing BETTER than the year was on the all-star team....
There is many other championship teams you could even argue there being 3 guys who played like all-stars.... like 1999 Lakers (Shaq, Kobe, Rice).... 2009 (Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Bynum)....
So it depends on what you consider is an All-Star.... a guy who plays like an all-star or a guy who was voted into the All-Star team?
