I really like the Indiana Pacers chances this year!
Where is the weakness in this team?
Paul George - Superstar, MVP candidate - 25.1 ppg 7.9 rpg 4.1 apg 46/42/84
one of the best 2-way players in the NBA at only 23 years old, great playmaker, defender, shooter, decision-maker, undisputed MVP of this potential best team in the NBA
Lance Stephenson - X-factor - 14.4 ppg 5.1 rpg 5.0 apg 48/50/42
In only his third season, Lance has become the 2nd leading scorer on the team and arguably the second most important. like PG he is also 23 and his versatility is one of the most unpredictable aspects of Pacers offense, with all the attn PG gets somehow Lance can be almost just as dangerous with his slashing shooting and play-making ability (evidenced by his 1st career triple double tonight 13 pts 11 rbs 12 apg 3-5 3s)
David West - Prototypical Power Forward - 12.1 ppg 7.0 rpg Classic, rugged, back to the basket, rebounding, anything-but-european big man, last seasons second leading scorer, on a roll he can be pretty unstoppable
Roy Hibbert - Biggest Kid on the Block - 10.9 ppg 9.0 rpg 4.4 bpg the new favorite DPOY candidate is finally stifling offenses like he always could, he may not average double figure rebounds becuz of the other great rebounders (West, PG, Lance) but if he keeps up this 4+ bpg he may just get it
George Hill - Solid decision-making guard- 11.5 ppg 2.1 rpg 3.0 apg 37/46/81
If you can ever get over the fact that this could have been Khawi Leonard
Luis Scola - perfect fit for this team great offensive big man
CJ Watson - great bench player
Orlando Johnson - much improved young player
Ian Mahinmi - talented big man
Donald SLoan - good role player
Chris Copeland - potential
Solomon Hill
Rasual Butler
2013-2014 Indiana Pacers 65-17

Please delete this...This will only bring hate...They are not unbeatable...They still turn it over too much and they still make boneheaded decisions sometimes...These are weaknesses that I do not see with the Miami Heat...

Miami makes some boneheaded decisions too... did you forget about Wade's amazing freethrow off the backboard with 0.6seconds left?

LoL true but honestly, how often does that happen? He and Lebron are two of the more intelligent players in the league. Especially Lebron. He usually makes the right play whether its a pass or a score.

You should welcome hate to your team. In most cases means you team is good.

ugh
why do you have to use the sensationalist title, you know why it's going to result in.

As a Pacers fan I find this pretty entertaining, even if I know it will all come crashing down eventually.

One of the perks of liking small market teams is that you dont have to contend with overzealous fans too much but I guess this mini streak is about to change that

8-0, far and away the best team in the league so far, still finding a way to try and be negative. never change.

thanks for the title change.
I agree that the Pacers look very, very good. Their worst players are still pretty good.. no 'scrubs' on this team.
Larry Bird is incredible. He has shown supreme patience, faith (trust in himself / his players), and basketball knowledge. this is how you build a team. I'd comment on some other... methods... but don't wanna derail the thread.
VERY proud to be a Pacers fan right now.

Unless you're the Knicks of course.

that's because the Knicks being good for a season or two is enough to jump-start their retarded fanbase for another decade.
I feel bad for intelligent Knicks fans.

where is the weakness? he's sitting on the bench, calling the shots

I get a 93 Knicks vibe. Especially given punk Lance Stephenson demeanor. And like that team was, still a piece away. In the Pacers case, a point guard. They may beat the Heat if Miami doesn't show the proper mental strength and resiliency.
