Monty wouldn't give Davis consistent starter minutes because he was too skinny to guard centers. He definitely would have yanked Noel around for the same thing.

I think they will keep General Grevis as the bench PG and SG as well as spot starter for when Gordon is inevitably injured.

Keep him as the 6th man/3rd guard. They really need to pursue Iggy in FA.

Then whatever they get in return for Grievas in a trade(should be something decent) and your starting to look at a team on the rise and possible playoffs berth this year.

Question is, who should they go after?

Til Gordon stays on the court and earns his max deal I wouldn't be too excited about him. Holiday is an all star who plays both ends. No braner. Got the makings of a great defensive team,.

Probably would rather have a sure thing over a question mark. Noel is good, but I mean, he tore his ACL and he's got a big question mark.

Even with Jrue, I think the Pelicans are going to be a lottery team so they're still in the hunt for Wiggins.

Imagine:

Jrue/Vasquez
Gordon/Rivers
Wiggins
Anderson
Davis/Lopez

That would be such a deadly line up and it would need the spacing provided by Anderson over Noel.

Well. Lets use a hypothetical.
You have a young Unproven 19 year old coming off an ACL injury who nadically becomes redundant because of last years pick Davis. and you have a 23 year old pg who is legit and an Allstar who works his but off. A guy to Run your franchise.

Who would you take?

No. They benched Splitter because he had problems protecting the ball in the paint. He kept getting his shot blocked, and at times got the ball stolen from him, and the reason why Pelicans traded for Jrue was because management probably felt that Vasquez had one of them type seasons where " my stats were only good because everybody else in the Hornet's back court sucked".

Lol hell of alot better than Aminu. Aminu is more of a guy that can contribute everything off the bench without doing anything particularly well. Not a star caliber small forward, and i see why the Clippers weren't so hesitant at giving him up.

Watching him at Maryland he was impressive, but with his lack of speed and decent handle I wondered how he would do in the NBA.

So far he is adjusting just fine to more athletic defenders.

He is an above average point.

Did you really call Vasqeuz an above average point?

The dude flat out sucks on defense. He's probably one of the worst perimeter defenders out there.
