Default Re: Is John Wall now a top 5 PG?

He could be but consistency is still a major issue. We'll see next year. He was very up and down his first two seasons as well, starting off bad and then playing better during the second half of the season.

He certainly could be top 5 next year but i wouldn't put him there now just because of 5 weeks of strong play. It is very encouraging though, especially since he was crap in feb.

I don't think Wall is better than Irving either (Wall needs to produce like this over a longer period of time--PG position is too deep for a month to push someone into the top 5), but is that seriously an argument you tried to make?

If that's the case then it would be impossible to compare any players who aren't from the same draft class with the same age.

Wall is exactly 18 months older than Irving. It's not the 2 years that noob tries to make it seem.

Can you please GTFO

You only watched 3 games of Wall at most this year.

21 this year vs 23 this year.

Yes, 1.5 years older + 1 year more experience. Happy?

I love how I provided factual proof showing that Wall is an inferior defender. If you subscribe to Synergy, you can actually WATCH ALL THE DAMN Wall defensive plays.

Christopher Emmanuel Paul
William Anthony Parker, Junior.
Russell Westbrook
Kyrie Andrew Irving
Deron Michael Williams
Wardell Stephen Curry II

Are all clearly better, imo.

Then consider guys like:
Rajon Pierre Rondo (Depends on how they return)
Derrick Martell Rose

If John Wall plays like he is next season and doesn't get hurt.... he's a Top 5 player in this league

wtf does irving do better than wall besides shooting. Wall is better at everything else:

Passing
Defense
Winning
Athleticism
Durability

also PER since Wall returned to form last month 29.
compared to Kyrie 21
