OSU woulda beat the shit out of Nebraska, in a blowout. That doesn't mean they'd have given Bama a game, but they certainly would have won the conference title game.
Don't know about that. They've been really good at coming back in the 2nd half, but if things start going wrong, then they tend to keep going wrong like in the OSU game and 2nd Wisky game. The offense is good enough to keep them in any game unless they start making mistakes. Not that I'd bet on NU as I don't have confidence in Martinez, but just saying you shouldn't assume they'd lose.

Florida QB Jacoby Brissett has decided to transfer to NC State.
Anyone know if the kid is any good?
Miami apparently didn't want him:
Quote:
West Palm Beach Dwyer coach Jack Daniels said UM was the “top choice” of Jacoby Brissett, who is transferring from UF, but the Hurricanes informed him “they don’t have room for him” because they have five quarterbacks on scholarship and a sixth (Kevin Olsen) arriving this summer.
I hope he ends up like Mitch Mustain.
Speaking of which, anyone remember that high school class of QBs? Stafford, Mustain, and Tebow were the big 3. Still had guys like Locker, Freeman, Ponder, Kapernick, Juice, Snead... Geez.

Mustain really was a complete victim of bad luck. He completely screwed himself by transferring to USC. I think if he would have stayed at Arkansas or transferred to a program where he was handed the starting job, he might of ended up in the NFL.
So looks like Johnny Football is back in the news as he got a speeding ticket in Ennis, TX. That's a town I drive through all the time...they have a dope drive in theater!
I'm sure y'all heard about his alcohol picture and then A&M released a statement that his parents were close by...
I have a friend who's a bartender and she said he comes to her bar all the time and dude is always shit faced.
Not that Manziel isn't deserving, because he is, but I thought if there ever might be a year a defensive player (a player who plays defense only) could break through and win it, this would be it. Again, no problem with Manziel winning, but the Heisman really is the "Most Outstanding Offensive Player" more so than it is most outstanding player. I guess that's been the case for a long time, though.
Scary thing is, I'm not sure Manziel is a surefire NFL QB, so I think he's a four year player. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he won it again. He's really, really good, and plays in offense that lends itself to insane numbers by a dual threat QB with his talent.
ND did go undefeated. Which is something that basically no other team (outside of Ohio State) can say. And Teo was a HUGE part of their success as the defensive leader.
Seems like people fall over themselves to discredit Teo. Probably wouldn't get as much hate if he was playing in the god-almighty SEC.
Every single candidate got tons of hype. Not just Teo.
Today is signing day, and Ole Miss has had a HUGE day so far.
They've landed the #1 prospect in the nation DE Robert Nkemdiche and #5 prospect in the nation OT Laremy Tunsil. In addition they've signed the top WR in the nation in Laquon Treadwell and are still in the mix for a few other top guys.
