His daughter at an young age of 22 passed away. My deepest condolences to Kevin and his wife. Very sad to lose a child so young. We wish you all the best coach.

3 days ago it was reported that the situation was getting better. This is extremely sad. My deepest sympathies to him and his family.

Kevin and the Rockets realy never got into th details, but the term that was used was she was sick so i tottaly unerstand the private nature of this.

David Ruth whois theMinny sports writer also used the term she died of ilness. So sad for him and his family McHale is a terrefic players coach and i'm sure we will win it for him on Tuesday against Toronto

Just horrible and devastating news. Her life was just starting and to see it end so tragically is just ugh, I can't stand it. All the strength and support for the family and their tough road to recovery. I don't even know how McHale will be able to coach after this.
