LMAO! So why didn't the Nets try and trade him before the deadline? Now he's going to leave and the Nets will get nothing and they gave up everyone to get him. Time to blow it up in New Jersey or Brooklyn.

About half of the mavs roster is free agents after this yr. Kidd, Terry, etc. They can sign younger players to fill around dirk and deron.

Is there any way the Magic can acquire him?

Nelson, Big Baby (or Reddick), Ryan Anderson + 2 first rounders?

That's probably not enough just throwing stuff out there.

This is bad PR for the Nets in my opinion. With his actions, especially if he doesn't resign it's saying "I don't know what the Brooklyn Nets are doing, but I don't want nothing to do with it." Which could make it difficult to lure anyone there.

Got it now. It's not toward Howard guys. I figured it out.
This is the reason why maybe threads should be read thoroughly before responding.

Everybody knew from the get go it was a stupid move by the nets. Nothing more nothing less. They took a gamble and lost. If Dwight landed in NJ, it is a much different story. If players can't understand that, fck me.
