A thread in the main forum got me thinking

i love billups and always felt he was underrated

would you of done Bynum +money fillers for billups and rasheed?

how about today, with todays knowledge would u have done it..

and rasheed is a vet who can play D.. good size ..i think phil would like him

I love both billups (always have) and sheed both but I love homegrown guys more... sheed is the kind of guy I like watching play on other teams. Not unlike starburry.

You don't trade a very talented big who is just 21 for a point guard in his early 30's no matter how good a point guard he is...I wouldn't do it then and wouldn't now.

I would not have done this deal.... NO....Bynum is young with size.

its a tough call. I would say no because we would have to involve someone else like Odom.

Billups is a very good PG but trading for him now gives us a small window of opportunity and replacing him would be hard.

If we're gonna go after a PG, get someone in the offseason that wants more playing time like my boy Kirk. Kirk plays exceptional defense, can shoot pretty well, penetrate, and is very unselfish.
