Default Superteams are assembled to face OTHER superteams, not G-League teams

Haters act like LeBron invented super teams. He did not.

Haters act like LeBron had the unique privilege of having a super team. He did not.

Here is the crucial bit. People act like LeBron had super teams to overcome regular teams. Nope. Think about that for a bit.

Where did the LeBron superteam hate start? 2011 Miami Heat. Did people forget that the 2008 Boston Celtics had a super team? In 2010, 3 teams had 2 players in the All NBA: Lakers, Heat, & Thunder. In no way was the Heat the lone superteam. Superteams are assembled to face other superteams. Why do people act like superteams are assembled to face G-League teams? One of the teams that LeBron beat was the record-breaking 73-win GSW. That's a superteam if there ever was one.

On the flip side, some people act like Jordan was some type of lone wolf alpha who slayed opponents by himself. Uhmmm ... no. Ffaaarrrrr from it. Let's take the 96 season for example. The Bulls had 2 players in the All NBA FIRST team. Nobody else had that. The Bulls had THREE players in the All Defensive FIRST team. Nobody else had that. Not even close. In fact, I would expect very limited instances that it ever happened (if at all). Coach of the Year? Bulls. 6th man of the year? Bulls. They had one of the most super of super teams! Stacked as all hell.

Why does the hater narrative flip reality/facts?

Lebron couldn't win the East with homecourt in 2009 and 2010, so he took the top 3 first options in the conference and put them on 1 team (the "decision"), aka his Finals streak was completely manufactured by diluting the conference and consolidating power on 1 team..

And the 2010 Celtics were already fossils and +500 underdogs, so the East was about to be wide open for the next decade with Wade, Derozan, Lebron, George and Bosh battling for Eastern supremacy - but Lebron just teamed up with everyone instead.

Lebron's "decisions" locked the league down with 3 chips in 6 years and preseason favorite status for 6 straight years (11-16'), so Durant's only mistake was waiting 6 years to respond.. Durant achieved an unprecedented advantage but he was breaking Lebron's record for unprecedented advantage and Lebron's lasted much longer (6 years).

Looks like somebody forgot about Rondo, who was easily the best player on the team at that point. All Star. 5th in DPOY voting. All Defensive FIRST team. 4th in apg. Pierce was an All Star too.

Who did LeBron have? Nobody. No All Star. No defensive players. Just a bunch of warm bodies.

On that series, LeBron put in an enormous performance leading BOTH teams in points, rebounds, and steals. 2nd in assists. 3rd in blocks. That's considering BOTH teams.

Next to LeBron, Cleveland had a 37 year old Shaq who contributed 13.5 ppg. On the other hand, Boston has Rondo at 20.7 ppg, KG at 18.8 ppg, and Allen at 15.7ppg. Looks like a 3 vs 1 situation to me.

Yes, Boston was no longer a super team. HOWEVER, Cleveland without LeBron was a G-League team. Stop lying with your biased takes.

There has only ever been 1 superteam..and that was Golden State with Durant.

2 allstars and a fringe allstar with 9 shit players isn't a super team.

Pat Riley did that.... he's the one who took the easy way out.
