Trueing. Plus it's a mere ONE game.

Even that aside, it's also helpful to remember that any team is always just one injury away from a completely reversing series trend.

I am watching the game right now and Van gundy is talking about the Lakers defense at the end of the first quarter. He is saying they hang back on the screens which different from the Kings who would come out on the screens.

AD is guarding either green or Looney.. If ADs man sets the screen do you think the Lakers game plan is for AD to stay in the lane?

Watching the game apparently it is their game play for AD to stay in the lane against Poole.

Against Curry he does a soft show on this one, coming out but not far enough to contest Curry's shot. The result is a 3 in his grill.

Van gundy is literally skewering the Lakers 3 point defense, not just on pick and rolls. He literally says the Lakers are giving the GS too many looks from 3.

Series will depend on how frequently Warriors play zone, and how effective it is at lowering Davis paint percentages / forcing Davis into turnovers. Davis, naturally, and due to injury frequency, does not like getting up high to finish in congested space. He prefers transition to get airborne mostly. Dray/Looney/Bench have to physically punish Davis a few times from within a congested zone, and lakers have to brick plenty of threes, for Golden State to gain thre upper hand.

Steph pursuing boards really helped concerns over zone rebounding last game. i suspect Steph also pursued those boards to get more looks instead of poole bringing it upcourt for less efficient posessions.

Here is another example of the Lakers trash 3 pt defense. Poole dribbles towards Looney on the left side, Russell goes under the screen, AD hangs way back. The result is another open 3 for Poole. No wonder he made so many 3s.

You are right I wouldn't take it

That is a routine shot for Curry. He will take that shot 10 times out of 10. AD didn't even leave his feet to contest it.
