It was dumb to say the least. We already had more than enough to win prior to this..
I'd take him over Green or Griffin

All to stop a 36yo bran. Career West superstars sprinting East at the fear of LeGrramps and Caruso. Even D'antoni did it

This will be talked about forever, it's what differentiates the feared conference rivalry of Jeff Hornacek to the LeGOAT standard

It does seem like the Nets are just stacking talent to stack it. Didn't they already have the best offense of all time? Why aren't they adding defensive pieces? Everything is an offensive piece.

You'd have a reasonable point, but it does work both ways. Sometimes teams trade players that want to stay. Or worse, waive them. If a team is allowed to a get rid of a player it no longer wants, then a player should also be able to leave a team that he no longer wants to play for.

Pop played Pau Gasol an entire year after he was completely finished. Pop isn’t a ****ing age-averse coach. What a dumb ****ing sentiment. He’s suck-averse.
He's played in half the games due to injury and yes phasing the young guns in. Even vets like Patty Mills and Rudy Gay are playing less than Keldon Johnson and Lonnie Walker. So you're just totally off here. But yea... I don't see how he helps our problems. LMA is probably the worst lateral defensive big in the league. He moves in mollasses sideways. He's unplayable against first units.

The 35-year-old had appeared in 21 games this season and averaged 13.7 points (his lowest since his rookie season) and 4.5 rebounds (a career low). He saw just 25.9 minutes per game, but he was limited by a hip injury and stomach illness.

Need shooters and defenders and Aldridge can shoot. Blake makes little sense. Best with the ball in his hands and that isn't happening

Aldridge can't defend though and is slower than shit. Blake looks like he still has some spring. LMA is older than Griffin by quite a bit in basketball terms ~ 36 to 32 basically.

Aldridge can bang down low with the best of them and can shoot. Not to mention has a motor and isn't on his very last leg. Not a gifted defender but Blake is notably worse, and that's when he decides to actually try to defend. LMA is a big body and gives some diversity to the offense...he can fade you to death like Dirk or knock down wide open threes which he will get plenty of.
