Default 94' Rockets all but lost to the Knicks, so how could they have beaten the MJ Bulls?

1994 Finals Team ORtg and PPG:

    Knicks..... 86.9... 101.0
    Rockets... 86.1... 100.1

Knicks basically beat em' if not for a couple minutes of choking.

Btw, the Bulls did the same thing to the Knicks in the ECSF... So if we gave that Bulls team the #1 offense of all-time (like they had with MJ), and they would've destroyed Hakeem in 4 games.

MJ was notorious for choking when he actually faced competition (see his embarrassing history versus Larry Bird's Celtics). He would have averaged something like 25 PPG on 33% shooting against the Rockets with Hakeem patrolling the paint, no doubt.

    ...
"There should be no doubt or label of fluke on our championships," said Hakeem Olajuwon. "As for Michael Jordan, a lot of people don't know and never looked up our matchups with Chicago during that time. If you check the records, you'll see that we beat them on a consistent basis when Michael was playing and winning his first three championships.

"(Vernon) Maxwell guarded Michael and gave him problems. In '95, we would have had Mario Elie on him. They didn't have anyone who could contain me. Chicago was never a problem for us. We always looked forward to playing them. A lot of people don't realize that."

The Rockets, in fact, had a 5-1 record vs. Jordan and the Bulls from 1991 through 1993, the span of Chicago's first "three-peat."

After a loss on his home floor at Chicago Stadium in 1993, Jordan said, "We have no answer for the big guy. It's a good thing they won't ever make it to the (NBA) Finals, because I don't think we could beat them."

95 bulls lost to the magic, how could they beat Hakeem when they swept the Magic.

You sure about that??… .... Looks like Hakeem is pretty scared to even jump with MJ...

MJ tip-dunks on him like a big man would, hella easy

MJ is the only guy 6'6" or shorter to have "big man" hands, dr j/kawhi-type hands

MJ had a losing record against Hakeem during three peat

MJ admitted that they had no answer for Hakeem

MJ "retired" once Hakeem got a competitive team built around him

    Conclusion: MJ dodged Hakeem
