Minnesota is still likely a year or two behind what the Jazz’s young core has developed into.
don't bet on it. Better coach and superstar.
the Nuggets are still trying to build their way up to becoming something special. They have some incredible young talent and some formidable vets, but they seem more like the team that can compete against anybody, maybe even give them a run for their money, but that will struggle to truly seal the deal in the majority of their contests.
that's the Jazz until they prove otherwise
While in no way, shape or form am I questioning just how impressive of a start Westbrook has gotten off to, it’s also important to note that in the Thunder’s three victories, he has been matched up at the point guard position against the likes of the Sixers’ Sergio Rodriguez, the Suns’ Eric Bledsoe and the Lakers D’Angelo Russell.
None of these guards are considered lockdown defenders by any means.
Bledsoe is known for D.

This season, thanks to Hill's quality (he was again the Jazz's best player on the floor for the third consecutive game), that wasn't going to happen.
arguable
Dante Exum played spectacular perimeter defense, including three blocks of Spurs 3-point attempts. His length and height means his closeout is uber scary. Obviously, the blocks are good, but if he can get a reputation as a perimeter closeout specialist, it may even dissuade opponents from taking shots against him.
It's not going to keep teams from watching him turnover the ball and miss open shots though.

Boris Diaw: Thanks all for the kind messages from EVERYBODY. Great win from the team against a tough team (I know it 😀). Good night all. #TakeNote

Exum will also need to elevate his game, particularly on defense to help stop this duo
Exum is fine defensively. His offensive game needs a ton of work. That's what the D-league is for.
