Basically claiming that the cast of clowns that Lebron had in this year's Finals, in which he miraculously and single-handedly carried to two wins against a 67-15 Warrior team (and two losses in the closing seconds in two more) were better than the "rag-tag" group of losers that Mj had in the 90's. You know...the same "losers" who went 55-27 and nearly won a title withOUT him?
Of course, the same Cavs roster, with a healthy Kyrie, and Thompson...back-to-back records of 24-58 and 33-49..withOUT Lebron.

Re: Horace Grant vs. Tristan Thompson
Thompson may be on his way to being a Horace Grant type player, but hes no where near him yet.
Alos, take into consideration who Grant had to battle for those rebounds. As opposed to Thompson. Grant was going against Ewing, Olajuwan, Robinson, Webber, Barkley, Malone, Daughtery, Rodman, Mutombo, Oakley, Mourning. And im sure im missing a few

Pippen's 8 reb and 3 assists < Mosgov's 8 reb and 2 blocks.
Remember, Mosgov averaged 14/8/2... on 50%.... not 34%... He did this with a big man, rim-protecting defensive presence, which is > perimeter defender.
No question that Mosgov was a better 2nd option in 2015 Finals than Pippen was in 1996... 14/8/2 on 50% is better than 15/8/3 on 34%..

That's all Horace did... His 18/11 playoffs series was his career-best in his long, 17-year career... Every player has a career-best.
For example, Tristan Thompson's career playoff averages are 10/11, which is already better than Grant's 11/9 career playoff average.
So Tristan will have a career-best series one day like all players do, and it will probably look pretty similar to Horace's career best.

If this is true, than you're saying a 1-time all-star in the 90's is better than a today's 10-time all-star.. That demonstrates the superiority of the 90's era.
Even though I agree that the 90's was the superior era, I still can't say a 1-time all-star and 11/8 career player from the 90's is better than today's 10-time all-star and 19/9 career player.

There is such a thing as defense... Grant >> Thompson.
