When will teams learn this is how you win.
The Bulls won six titles without a dominant big. The Pistons won two titles right before them. The Heat won twice without one. And recent Duncan is good, but not the same as dominant, peak Duncan.
Dominant big at least means healthy Dwight Howard level, but guys like Shaq, Kareem and Wilt are what first come to mind. Bosh, Lambier, and Horace Grant don't come to mind. Rodman only in the rebounding sense.
You don't need a dominant big to win a title. If you have an MVP level superstar with the other two things, it can be done.

Actually the Magic for a 2-3 period were a great example, that team wasn't anything special but had those 3 things and were knocking on the door of a championship.
I guess Rodman and Horace Grant don't count an impactful big. Bosh and last year's Duncan meh close enough.

Defense yes,
dominant big man it helps but it can be worked around
3 pt shot 90% of all titles..that's pretty interesting considering 50% of the titles ever won were before the 3 point shot...
