I'd tend to agree, I'm a little closer to the Zoo, so I'm down there more often by default. Huge fan of the Holland area though.

Holland is nice and well kept but what do you like about it assuming you're not 65 and retired? As a 21-40 year old if I'm partying on the lakeshore it's definitely gonna be Grand Haven or Saugatuck.

Ha, well, I think I may have the mindset of a 65 year old. I don't really head to the coast to party. I head there to chill and get my mind right. Hope is a quiet place. The downtown, like you said, is real nice, well kept and easy going. And on top of that, I like the beaches, both the Tunnel and the State. In some regards it's the anti-South Haven, and I guess that's what I was looking for. Also, the deep Dutch heritage makes me feel right at home.

Overpriced places to live. Building owners, property leasers, etc..charge an arm and a leg for relatively average housing.
