Steve Francis was so fun to watch in the early 2000s. Sad that his career plummeted so quickly.

Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley played like bums against the sorry teams, but always played like AllStars against the good/great teams, that's why they never made the play-offs but one time during the Franchise era.

Steve Francis was an undercover NBA asshole/goon back in the day. I remember he lead the league in technicals one season.

Orlando Magic were some idiots for breaking that team up that had prime Francis, prime Mobley, and a young Dwight Howard all on the same team. That team could have worked out if Francis would cut out with the streetball dribble the shot clock out into a turnover crap, and became a pass first point guard instead. A team of Yao/Francis made it to the play-offs in a tough western conference, so a Magic team that had francis, cuttino, and dwight howard could have competed in a shitty eastern conference easily for a couple of years, but they traded most of the best players on that Magic team, and Francis became horrible on the Knicks. Francis was actually doing good on that Magic team until the Magic traded him to the Knicks actually. He was putting up the same numbers he was putting up in Houston on that Magic team.

But he just sucked as an overall team player and was a mental midget. The league figured out how to play him and that was it.
