I think as the game progesses the Lakers will figure the Celtics because they can learn from the Celt's veterans and they got a little better in this game.

Still have the same mistakes at not guarding Pierce on his baseline side and force him to go middle. His go to move is going left and flopping for the foul. Kobe gave him room today so he couldn't do the same flop when he went left.

Lakers got better at guarding Ray. His sweet move is a fake right and one bounce three point to the left.

KG, force him to take the jump shot, if he misses it's a fast break.

Pierce said that last play by Kobe was a good defensive move. He didn't say anything about foul.

He also said the game plan is to pack up on Kobe and force the other players to beat them. Not surprising if u don't see him scoring much.

15 of those 25 coming in the first quarter and like 6 of them in the final 3:00 of the game (4 FT's). So 4 points from the 12:00 mark of the second until 3:00 left in the 4th. So 4 points during the stretch where the game was actually being decided.

if you dont recognize this, then you dont see why the Celts have been the best defensive team all season and the Lakers ranked 17th.

LA actually finished the regular season ranked 5th in points allowed per 100 possessions(best metric of a team's effectiveness defensively, IMO) and 6th best in opponents FG%. While PP's not quite facing the Celtics D, he's still going up against a darn good defense.
