    Anyways here is my list:

    1. Kobe Bryant (#1 SG)
    2. LeBron James (#1 SF)
    3. Chris Paul (#1 OG)
    4. Kevin Garnett (#1 PF)
    5. Tim Duncan (#1 C)
    6. Dwight Howard (#2 C)
    7. Deron Williams (#2 PG)
    8. Amare Stoudemire (#2 PF)
    9. Dirk Nowitzki (#3 PF)
    10. Yao Ming (#3 C) ** I believe is slightly better then Howard, but injuries is the reason I place him lower **
    11. Steve Nash (#3 PG)
    12. Carmelo Anthony (#2 SF)
    13. Manu Ginobilli (#2 SG) ** Don't take his play-offs under consideration, I know he was hurting **
    14. Chris Bosh (#4 PF)
    15. Paul Pierce (#3 SF)
    16. Allen Iverson (#3 SG)
    17. Baron Davis (#4 PG)
    18. Brandon Roy (#4 SG)
    19. Al Jefferson (#4 C)
    20. Tracy McGrady (#5 SG)

Wade and Arenas missed my cut because they weren't healthy, same with Elton Brand.

After doing some research, I actually realize how much a guy like McGrady has slipped on my list. He really didn't have that great of a season (21 points on near 20 shots), shooting 40% is very disappointing for a guy that used to be on Kobe's tier.

Don't worry so much about idiot voters it will balance out in the end. Although the list I'm sure will show some Laker/Celtic bias, it's to be expected right now since the list is being made in anticipation of a Laker/Celtics final and there are just more Laker/Celtic fans on the board right now.

Discussion is always good, but asking the vote counter to use his own bias to eliminate bad votes is not a good thing, especially in a democratic society.

that's true, but we could easily take out everyone who has Kobe as number 1 and Lebron as number 20 (or not in the list at all), and vice versa. You can't tell me that there is anyone who actually believes that to be correct.

Obviously the problem is where to draw the line... so I guess you have a point.

i would agree that anyone who has lebron/kobe/garnett below #5 has an agenda, obviously, but there's really not much i can do about it.

It's not as if I picked someone of Luke Walton's caliber and said they're better than Amare. I honstly feel that way. It's an opinion. I also feel a healthy JO although I know that's been an oxymoron for some time is better than Amare as well.
I just feel Amare is vastly overrated. That is all.
    I could be wrong..yes I could...but it's how I feel. I just really dislike Amare's game. Is that such a crime?

It might be a bad ranking overall but it is how I feel, it's pretty sincere.

Just a year or two ago, people were calling Artest a top 10, if not top 5 two way player in the NBA. I still do think he's that damn good, just hadn't had a chance to excel....anywhere.
As for Pau...no, it's not a Laker thing but it's a thing for a player who I feel is very underrated vs a player who I feel is very overrated (Amare).

Amare doesn't come off as a game winner to me. That is all. His game is full of holes, he's hardly a presence IMO and what he basically does well is score. But that doesn't command that 1st option of a great team type of a respect nor do I see him that impactful.
Compare him for example to Elton Brand of 04-05 or JO of 03-04. Now they were complete players at the time with similar numbers.
Holding down the defense, leading the way on offense, having their presence be a factor etc..I just don't think Amare is that caliber of a player.
And damn, I better not even try to include Parker/Manu in the list because it will get even more controversial.

Besides Amare, I also didn't include Iverson and Arenas. Feeling the same thing about the two of them. It's an opinion. Why would I hate any of them?
They just don't strike me as impact players. I see them more as stat people. Is that wrong? Unknowledgeable? Dunno.

you gotta factor in that amare has been playing center his entire career while elton brand has been in his natural position.not alot of pf's can step in and play center for 6 seasons. yeah his defense was suspect going up against bigger players , but now we get to see him at pf for a whole season and in a new system. i dont see how you can say amare dont have a presence when he always steps his game up in the playoffs, you may not feel his presence but i guarantee you the spurs wasnt sad when he got suspended last year.

    5. Kevin Garnett
    6. Steve Nash

    16.Dirk Nowitzki
    17.Amare Stoudemire
    18.Yao Ming
    19.David West
    20.Hedo Turkoglu

Man, I'm not even remotely sure about my votes past the top 7. The next 13 players are extremely difficult to rank, every time I look at this I think the bottom 13 needs to be switched around. I'll probably end up editing my vote about a million times.

Could you explain why you think Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison are better than Baron Davis, Manu Ginobili (6th man), Paul Pierce, Roy (ROY), Bosh, Steve Nash (MVP), Nowitzki (MVP), Stoudemire, Yao, West, Turkoglu (MIP), Tracy McGrady, Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Joe Johnson?
