Default The NBA has reintroduced hand checking and results are exactly as we claimed..

Isn't it time people recognised that the NBA has basically full on introduced hand checking since the All Star break?

Not even early 00s hand checking, full on early 90s handchecking, from the halfcourt, one hand outside 3-point line it seems, two hands within it.

And the results are exactly like we though, much more intense games, much more half court pressure.

I remember how many people said it was all about spacing and so on.

Now remove the defensive 3 seconds and see the big man return.

In the finals yes, particularly on teams that Lebron plays.

Removing defensive 3 seconds isn't going to change a substantial amount because everyone on today's NBA teams need to be able to shoot. Even without rule changes that favor the offensive player, which the NBA has implemented plenty of over the years, the collective teams' understanding of 3 point shooting and what it does for offenses is never going back. The NBA will have to remove the 3 point line or alter the scoring values of different aspects of the games for us to see a substantially different product from a personnel standpoint.

The NBA also allows traveling and carrying the ball worse than ever, so offensive players will continue to have that massive advantage.
