    Default Durant is weird

    Guy has 0 heart / 0 fight.

14 shots taken with 8 mins left but the game is over now.

It just seems like he doesnt care. Dude seems empty.

Like he's above going all out and chasing a win.

Whats he doing any of this for at this point? Moving Teams, practicing, etc. If he comes to the post-season with this urgency?

He's 35 and tore his achilles

He's washed at this point, but his team sucks. No bench, no 3 point shooting outside of Allen. This team sucks dick.

He's 35 years old, it's impressive he's this good at this age. Most guys start drastically dropping at 32. Steph and KD are both out of their prime this season.

LeBron, KD and Steph all being old absolutely sucks for the NBA ngl. They are so lucky Wemby came around.

35 is absolutely nothing in this day and age.

    Its just not old anymore.

The RS showed he can play a lot better.

What's crazy is he really did show those things in that Bucks series 3 years ago, looking like a legitimately unstoppable player. He hasn't come close to looking like that in the playoffs since.

He looked fine in the POs last year and was great pre-ASB this season but hasn't been the same for the past few months. This is also the first season that he's played this many games since his achilles injury so he's probably just fatigued and not able to get to his spots and get the same looks off as consistently.

It is definitely old in the NBA. If they didn't play so many games it would be much less of an issue.

I think this paradigm is a bit out of date.

All the top guys are 30 and under, and dudes becoming superstars in their early 20's is more prevelent today. Yeah guys can sustain great play for longer than previous eras but its still very much a young mans game.

For sure, but among superstars you got plenty of guys still goin strong into their mid 30s. MJ and Kareem did, Duncan, Ray Allen, Nash, Pierce, Dirk, Ginobili, Steph, LeHung.

Theres fewer stars in their 30s at a given time because people are more likely to drop off for random reasons over time. Magic gets AIDS, Bosh gets blood clots, Bird throws his back out repaving his driveway. And some guys just dont feel like playing that long.

But superstars who are healthy and want to keep playing, I dont think their impact typically diminishes BECAUSE of their age by 35.
