Lakers/Nuggets shooting a combined 3/26 from 3. Whichever team gets it going from 3 probably wins tbh. Most likely the Nuggs. Needed to go up big but they had some terrible TOs and gave the Nuggets a lot of 2nd chances when they had a bigger lead to keep the game closer than it should be.

Ive noticed Jokic has played almsot intentionally passive for stretches the last two games to give his teammates a chance to get goin and also maybe to save some energy. Thats when the Lakers have built their leads. And then he kinda turns it back on before things get too crazy and the Nuggets just methodically march back.

Jokic could literally drop 45-50 every game on quality percentages if he wanted to just demand the ball and go to work all the time. But it seems like he wants to give his teammates a chance to rock and play their games and then he kinda steps in in relief as needed.

Other than MPJ last game and Gordon this game his teammates have been a bit cold so theyre givin up leads. But its almost like Jokic is willing to spot the Lakers points in order to get his teammates touches early, knowing he’ll just erase the Laker lead later.
