Exclamation If Kangs beat Pels tonight, it basically locks in GS-LAL as a single elim play-in

There may still be a mathematical chance of a different outcome, but it would require a fairly unlikely group of results in the next few days. Practically speaking it comes down to tonight.

    So this is it.

If Sacramento wins tonight… the Lakers or Warriors will face off, with one of them being ELIMINATED from the playoffs before they even begin.

And thats going to really call the future of some enormous franchise icons into question.

    Exciting stuff!

    Nah.

Suns and Pels and Kings arent safe. Suns and Pels dont have tiebreaker, both could easily lose remaining games, Pels play the very last one against the lakers.

If the Kings lose the Lakers could move up to the 8th spot. I assume GS would prefer to play the Kings without Monk as opposed to the Lakers.

It's true the Suns and/or Pelicans could lose out and LA/GS could win out, but it's improbable IMO.

The 8th place Kings are the easiest team to catch, and if they win tonight (they end the season at home vs Portland) the going gets tough for the Lakez n Warz.

True but LAL doesnt have the tiebreaker with Sac so they'd need to beat them by record outright. The Kings play the Suns tomorrow night, which means one of the two teams cant lose out. LA and GS best hope is for the Kings to be the ones who lose out, starting tonight.

Didnt Lebron say that whoever thought up the play in should be fired?
