Re: Besides America would any countries, all-time team defeat, the Kentucky all timer
Team of countries that were once in the Soviet union could probably do it.
Would the all-time Spain team win off chemistry?
Greece would be more of a problem than you’d think at first.

I know this does not address the question particularly, but I would like to see the all-time Kansas and UNC rosters to see how they stack up against the all-time Kentucky roster. The UCLA roster might look a little interesting also.

Of the top My head you would have Kareem and Walton at the center with Kevin Love at the four unless you want to play Walton there. Reggie would be at the 2. You have Westbrook and Baron Davis for the point. Holiday if you prefer defense. I think you’d have to put Jamal Wilkes at the three? Wait Marques Johnson. He was a lot better than people right now would think but he wouldn’t win you any votes if you were gonna do a poll.
Kiki Vandeweghe?
UCLA would definitely have a squad but less modern players

It is hard for people today to understand how huge college basketball was back in the 80s/90s. If a guy left for the NBA after 3 years, like MJ did, that was considered leaving early. Nobody was doing the one and done thing then. Guys who left after 2 (Iverson, Isiah) were exceptions.

Kentucky have a bunch of 2nd/3rd tier Hall of Famers/All-Stars. Any player of the years/conference here? I'm not too sure.

College was definitely bigger than the nba until maybe…the second bulls threepeat. Bird and Magic in college is still the highest rated basketball game of any kind ever. 40 million people. Second is Jordan’s last bulls game and third is game 7 of the 16 finals at 32 million.
Bird and Magic did record numbers without nba fanbases.

I started watching basketball (NBA) in 1994. I can't remember ever watching a college game until the early 2000s maybe. I mean not even willingly. Just on TV going thru the stations. I have no recollection. Had to be Melo at Syracuse.
What I did get was a lot of college basketball cards. For some reason I have a bunch of Glenn Robinson Purdue cards lol.

Team USA has lost to far worse talent. AD / KAT / Bam / Booker / SGA / Rondo / Fox is just ridiculous. That team would sweep NBA championships.

USA Has definitely lost to less talented lineups but the team you could build all time? You basically take the dream team and swap out a few people from the redeem team and maybe toss Steph and KD in there somewhere. Maybe Kareem or Shaq for the **** of it. I don’t think they would lose if they weren’t ****ing around.

Robinson might be the last of the guys who when people who remember him well talk about how good he was they largely mean in college. I wouldn’t be able to convey how good Glenn Robinson was thought to be by the college lovers. Kidd and Grant Hill went second and third behind him and it wasn’t big controversy. It was generally understood that Glenn was a monster.
when Carmelo was at Syracuse, the old people were saying he could be a Glenn Robinson type and they didn’t mean it as an insult. He held out on the books, trying to get a 10 year $100 million contract as a rookie. He got the 10 years but only 68 million. And then he felt stupid for even that because contracts jumped so much.

I watched Allen Iverson's last game for some reason. Even here in Europe, he must have been big enough of a prospect to warrant a college game being shown.

Maybe France? They have too many big men, maybe some kind of jumbo line up can work - tony parker/batum/diaw/wemby/gobert?
