Shaq and some of these other oldheads can’t properly evaluate todays players because they keep using the same criteria that was applied to them back when they were in nba. Todays schemes simply don’t involve one on one defense much anymore so you can’t blame a guy for not clamping down someone all night since defense today is all about switching and rotating

but I've been told Ben Simmons had 42 on Gobert despite going 3-7 with Gobert guarding him

Off the top of my head he’s the most disrespected DPOY I can remember. Who was it who said he was watching film and Gobert was French for garbage? Pat Beverly? I know Russ was the one who laughed when the fans said he was DPOY but it wasn’t him calling him garbage.
