1992-'93 NBA Season replay

For the past couple of years I've been working on project to test the accuracy of a game I have called Above the Rim, ATR for short. I'm attempting to play every game with every team and have gotten to 29-34 games into the schedule. I thought I would share it here and let you guys follow along. '92-'93 was one of my favorite seasons as it was Shaq's rookie years giving us a plethora of good to great centers in the league. I just completed the schedule for January 10, 1993 with a game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks. hopefully the format will work out fine on ISH. With that, here we go.

It's a stat based game that requires Excel to play it. It's not a video game, it's text. To be honest, I think younger people who grew up on NBA 2K or other video games wouldn't enjoy it. The reason I like it is it's a very accurate representation of basketball and it has every season with every team back to 1954.

Is this like a basketball version of Out of the Park Baseball?

I think so. I've never played Out of the Park but I've heard of people talking about it. Other games would be Strat-o-matic, APBA, Replay, Inside Sports.

The Hornets are 4.5 games back of the Bulls in the Central trying to keep pace with Indiana and Cleveland while Dallas has been horrible, 15.5 games back of Utah with a 4-24 record.

San Antonio has recently fallen out of 1st place in the Midwest as they head to Detroit to face a 14-17 Pistons team who find themselves 9 games behind the Bulls. Dennis Rodman is averaging 19.4 rebounds/game.
