Default Edwards hitting his head off the rim during the clutch block…

Dude might be my favorite non warrior. He’s a G. He hops right back up afterwards. He plays for keeps. He’s carrying the torch.

Good thing the rim was sturdy enough not to crack.

Even Anthony Edwards was surprised with how much elevation he got even though the Timberwolves star is surely accustomed to the thin air in the skies with how high he gets off the ground on a regular basis. “I hit my head I think on the rim. It’s hurting real bad and I landed on my wrist. But I saw him with the lane, I knew he was going up for the layup and I was just like, ‘I’m [gonna] go get this.’ I ain’t never jumped that high in my life,” Edwards said in his postgame interview following their win over the Pacers, via ClutchPoints Twitter.

Dane Moore: Rudy Gobert on Anthony Edwards: “That block at the end (starts point to his chest) is straight up wanting to win. And they don’t teach that.”

    – via Twitter DaneMooreNBA

Dane Moore: Anthony Edwards went back to the locker room twice in tonight’s game — once for a rolled ankle and another time from crashing to the ground (mighta been his wrist, which was wrapped and iced in the locker room). Asked Edwards how he is physically: “I’m alright. I’m ready to go tomorrow.”

Jon Krawczynski: Anthony Edwards had 44 points and 0 turnovers tonight. That ties @KevinGarnett5KG (2007 vs. Suns) for most points without a turnover in Wolves history.

One of the most insane game-winning plays I've ever seen. He's a winner.

Insane play. No idea Edwards was that type of player.
