Yeah, I still think a finals run is a long shot, but they are definitely gonna be the team nobody wants to play along the way. Conference finals is not unrealistic.

Is Ujiri developing dementia or what?
Great athlete, high energy defender. His shot has been streaky but looked good after the deadline last year when he got big minutes.

Oh ok. So when Gobert doesnt succeed it's on his teammates, but when other stars dont succeed it's on them.
Just wanted to clarify.

This trade made no sense to me. A contender should be going after Schroder.

I’m hearing mavs also landed Gafford? Him and PJ are quite an upgrade. Lively and Gafford should make a hell of a defensive tag team at center

Dennis has another year on his contract. Nets want him for next year apparently. Raptors get expiring contracts

Re: Trade Deadline(today) discussion
Something to keep in mind: the Mavericks owe their 2029 first-round pick to the Nets. Why does that matter? Because it means the top-2 protected pick Dallas is sending Charlotte in 2027 can't roll over from one year to the next. Basically, what that means is that if the Mavericks pick first or second in 2027, the Hornets don't get a first-round pick. The Lakers used a similar maneuver with the Jazz last season in the Russell Westbrook trade, only that pick was top-four protected.

That's what I worry about. Thibs turned Fournier from a 20ppg player to a footnote lucky to see 5 minutes of floor time a month.
If Bojan who is much, much better can't see minutes, the Knicks need to fire Thibs to get anywhere. That's a hell of a deal for them.
Hayward to the Thunder is great
Hield to the Sixers is great
Bojan to the Knicks is great
Gafford to the Mavs is great
A lot of nice moves

which is why The Bum to NY never made sense. Fournier is a lot better player. Hard to imagine Thibs hopping on The Bum bandwagon. I'd say Fournier is better than Bojan too. Bojan can score and shoot. Little else

Fournier doesn't do anything else and is far streakier. Not much of a clutch player either which Bojan can be

Damn, didn't realize Mavs tossed away Grant Williams already.
Royce to the Suns is good for them. Keep McConnell or any other PG away!
