Default Is the middle team doomed by coaching alone?

Question was which of them would be the best in a 7 game series.

Team 2's backcourt is so redundant, you do not need CP3, McGrady AND Harden all on the seam team They'd be much better served swapping Harden for Pierce or Allen.

Team 3 has similar issues but with pretty limited 3 point shooting.

Team 1 is clearly the most well rounded and cohesive team.

Team 1: would dominate any era.

    Team 2: lol.

Team 3: would dominate 30 years ago, but not so much today.

Team 2 needs a good coach and has the most unknowns but has the highest ceiling.

team 2 looks like the best team on paper in today's game for sure. Good luck with Doc though

Does doc get prime Harden and KG or the ones that he coached? Doc missed out on young Chris Paul too.

Regardless give me team number 1

Playoff Harden doesnt have a prime. Neither does playoff Embiid.

And yeah if we're taking everyone at their peak, it's a slaughter for Team 1.

Team 3 has the best player (LeGOAT) but I'm not crazy about his help...

No one said playoffs. just a 7 series tournament

Team 1 has proven championship chemistry across all 5 players who played together. And it was young Parker, Manu, and Kawhi vs old Robinson and Duncan to span the decades. If we're making this all prime versions it's not even remotely a contest. They'd probably beat the 2008 Olympic team with prime Kobe, Lebron, and Wade.

Team 3 is super talented but the fact they have 0 elite 3pt shooters is quite concerning.

Adding Butler and Bam to the big 3 Heat is ridiculous though. I'd imagine they'd just bully ball every possession and get triple the amount of free throws.

I agree with you I would want Ray but then I think about all the people who swear the rockets take out those kd dubs if cp3 does not go down in the wcf. It may not feel like the perfect fit but they got as close as anybody did to beating the dubs when they were healthy

But wait… why is Team 2, Team 2?

I mean I get the Spurs legends, and the Heat legends. But why are Embiid, CP3, KG, McGrady and Harden a team?

    edit: Ohhhh, bc Doc.
