If the all star game had not died to me years ago when Steph literally lay on the court to allow Giannis to dunk

this would have annoyed me. As it stands I likely won’t be watching.

Just don't show any seizure-inducing images too much.

How does it work? Is it touch sensitive? If so, wtf... why not have interactive courts to show where a player jumped (foot on the line type calls).

    Trial run for ads probably.

In a few year time every court will look like this and the various sponsors can run quick ads right on the court.

Looks like they teased a potential 4 point line. as if the ASG wasn't boring enough, its now just gonna be guys taking turns heaving it from half court.

It's been all smoke and mirrors. I haven't followed the all star weekend for a few years now. It's basically a waste of time. I just wait for the slam dunk contest highlights on youtube and that's it. The asg is just a complete clown show.

Has anyone ever played on a glass court and is it different?

I haven't but wouldn't that give similar shock absorption as concrete floor?

I'm not sure but given that it's probably a giant gorilla glass screen tv we have the likely factor that the playing surface is smoother than concrete (which could have a minor effect on shock absorption and could also be slicker than the players like) and the low possibilty factor that maybe a heavy super athlete like Zion Williamson could damage the floor on landing...very unlikely though, I am sure that the engineers and scientists make that screen exceedingly strong. But you wouldn't want any player jumping onto a normal gorilla glass screen, just saying.
