someone needs to say it. Ranking guys based on offensive stats only is stupid. Edwards has been getting underrated when unlike most guys he actually plays both ends of the court on the best team in the west

Kind of pointless to even ask tbh. Might as well ask Gobert’s mom where she ranks him.
Even she might give a more impartial take.

Bro, Toody is Top 5 in 1st quarter rebounds, Top 5 in 2nd quarter rebounds, Top 5 in 3rd quarter rebounds, Top 5 in 4th quarter rebounds.
So he’s top 5 in four major statistical categories.
So even though he ranks lower than Sabonis in rebounds, and is also nowhere near 20 points and 7 assists per game to boot, he’s better than him.
Because… rebounds.
Toody is better than the guy who rebounds more than him. But also better than everyone else that he rebounds more than.

Your unrealistic mancrush on Sengun is evident. I'd wager to say you have a general bias for a certain level of melanin.

best defender in the league on the best defensive team in the league while also being one of the elite rebounders. More than half the game. I realize it's the part of the game that doesn't matter to most

Sabonis plays little D so if he was the best offensive player in the league which I'm thinking he's not he's at best on par with the best defender in the league

I know how they work for the majority. Obviously the results on the court tell a different story though

So Toody was trash last year?
Ninth place finish in the conference and a first round beat down to a guy who “plays no defense” and won the NBA championship.
Either Toody was trash last year or “but but but nah uhh thats differenttttttttt.”
Just keep adjusting the angles as needed each year so that Toody is never not a top 5 player.

No. The team around him is a lot better and healthier and have all bought in defensively. Jokic plays D otherwise they wouldn't have won it all. What have I adjusted and when did I call him a top 5 player? We're talking top 8 centers. Try staying between the posts
