I'm fine with Tatum being treated as the best small forwards but it's noteworthy that he mainly started at power forward last year and that could also be the case this year.

Looks like Steph is about to finally play the two which people have been accusing him of being his whole career anyway. I feel like they just ignore today’s largely positionless lineups and just go with what a player feels like. Westbrook played a little center for the rockets I believe. It’s just a cluster****.

The best one to make fun of people for is the "if you were starting a franchise today" question. And barring health troubles which are unpredictable, I personally believe the answer to that is Wembanyama. Anthony Edwards getting 7% of the vote is a joke but I mean he wasn't 1st or 2nd so not a big deal.

On a very quick skim, it was that and the following 2...

Which one player acquisition will make the biggest impact?
    1. Damian Lillard, Milwaukee – 47%

    This is a joke.

Also only 50% of the field taking Wembanyama for ROY is probably going to end up pretty damn funny, again, barring injury.

I think the biggest thing with Wembanyama will actually be does he stay healthy? Those toothpicks typically don't. Hope he does.

Yama hasnt even played an NBA game. Its possible he could end up the best player, but taking him over other young guys whove already proved they can be dominant when healthy is pretty ill advised IMO.

    What young guys? Luka? Ha!

Giannis is 29 in less than 2 months. Jokic hates being employed. They will still remain very good for another 5 years, but Wemby might have a dominant 15 year career.

As good as Giannis and Jokic are, they aren't taking a team to the Finals from scratch in a couple of seasons which is what we're talking about.

Luka, Zion, Shai, Ant… these guys are all like, 24 years old and are worlds more proven than Wemb.

Also, Joker is what, 27? Id absolutely take him for a team from scratch, youd be starting your franchise off with an arguably literal GOAT in his prime. Thats a pretty good way to start an organizations legacy.

To each their own, and maybe Yama prove to be the best option. Im just not convinced its the optimal EV.

Giannis being so respected on defensive is just disturbing. I say it every year… people look at how he’s build and what he should be able to do on defense but he doesn’t do it.

He’s not a menace in passing lanes….he dont got shut down on hall defense…all he does is get a couple “sneak blocks” from leaving his man and blocking a offensive player when they ain’t looking a year and y’all get down on ur knees n blow him.

Anthony Davis as a roamer causes so much more fking havoc on defense than Giannis….it’s not even close. Giannis is not even the best defender on his own team. Take the man’s dick out of your mouth GMs please! He’s not like that! No matter how many awards and all defensive teams you give him he don’t shut down shit….nobody! Name one person he has ever shut down….EVER! He’s not “like that”!

    I’ll take bam over him
    I’ll take Tatum over him
I’ll take big wiggle over him
Hell I’ll take mcdaniels from the Timberwolves over him on defense…. I could make a list….a long list

Matter fact f all that….name one person he’s ever even bothered in the past 6 years….the only man he even bothered in his career was sorry ass Knicks melo….n that was once…..in 10 years that he ever bothered someone on offense…..the man is not like that….

I know Durant staying uninjured all season is a huge if.....but it seems like Phoenix is getting a bit underrated lately. I wouldn't count them out just yet.

He had the lowest opposing shooting percentage in the nba of all players who were the primary defender of at least 500 shots either last year or year before. I remember Patrick Beverley talking about it in an interview, and there was a link to it in the story. Patrick was up there near the top as well, and kept stressing that him guarding you was like being guarded by Giannis.
