In addition to lacking the jumpshooting touch to shoot over the packed paints of previous eras, Lebron would cower from the physicality (shown below), which would make him a passive facilitator like Magic or Kidd.

So those are 2 pretty good reasons why Lebron wouldn't be as good in the unspaced eras of yesteryear (1) lack of jumpshooting touch to shoot over packed paints and 2) cower from the physicality and be a passive facilitator instead

I do think he's struggle to get a J going, moreso than he did already, because of how the game was. Plus every team would play him like the Spurs and once he became able to hit, they'd stay close enough to bother him, but he'd def get to the rim well, even if he did get clubbed. I think his ability to get inside, nohomo, is prol the reason he'd get good scoring, but I don't think he'd be as good. He wouldn't get 30 imo. You kinda needed a J to get 30 back then.

LeBron averaged 30 ppg a few seasons in the slowest era ever in the mid 2000s.

But he would struggle in a faster era in the 80s and 90s?

    Laughable.

Let's be real here.
This is one of your dumber takes, and that's really an impressive feat

Most choke jobs of all time.

He's been out of running for GOAT since 2011.
