Despite his entire college and NBA career being televised there is not one video or photo showing him coming anywhere close to that.

I don't think you guys realize what a 48 inch vert would be like. Some guys actually have it... look at them on social media. They aren't in basketball shape tho cuz they just did a bunch of exercises so they could jump and do dum dunks.

there's no proof cuz it's not true. Not like Bron has it, either. It's extremely ridiculous as you can tell by that dude. That's some high chance of injury each time you jump level vert.

He def had a 48’ it’s been measured. Also he wasn’t actually 6’6. He was actually like 6’4.5. Like anyone, particularly males, your actual height without shoes, you can usually add about an inch and a half with them. I say I’m 5’11. I’m actually 5’9.5 without shoes.

Jordan was measured by UNC to have a running vertical leap at 46" and if you caught him on a good jump/day he probably hit 48 at some point in his life.

But was 48 his normal thing? No, probably the maximum of his life.

48 inch vertical is probably without a basketball in maximum condition so why would there be a photo or video of that? The vast majority of vid are him playing basketball.
