Mods, please sticky. Football forum is basically dead so I will make a thread here.

    Super bowl predictions anyone?
Your Raiders won't be in it

Dolphins and Bears getting a lot of the early buzz.

The Bears are gonna be an improved team but I am not as confident that they will take that huge leap in the win column like last years Lions.

On the other hand... I am buying Miami to win the East.

I like the weapons they put around Fields, hopefully he'll show he can also beat teams with his arm because running QBs get shut down in the playoffs.

That's one of my concerns with him. He's a great runner, but can he help elevate this offense with his arm. He wasn't too much of a threat with his arm based on the numbers. They put a couple more weapons around him with Chase Claypool (full offseason with the team) and DJ Moore. Still got Cole Kmet, so he has some pass catchers around him.

He actually has a nice touch on deep passes. Made some really good deep throws that weren't caught because of the bad WR core we had last season. But yeah, that's my biggest concern, we know he can make big plays with his legs, wanna see him make big plays with his arm now that he has some weapons around him. Can't wait for Sunday...

First upset of the season. Chiefs lose to the Lions.

Lions offense looked like dog shit for most of the game but pulled it out when needed. Chiefs needs their best two players back. Mahomes is amazing. Aidan Hutchinson is stepping up into Bosa levels of disruptiveness.

My 4 very deep thoughts of this game.

No doubt. I just think the expectations for winning games placed on Fields is unfair to him. Not saying you are doing that but I have been seeing a lot of it. Bears needed to improve in a lot more areas than pass catchers.

That ends up being the story for majority of these kickoff games
