Rivers is a downgrade from the previous two guys for the sole reason that his voice is insufferable. Why in the hell would you put a guy on to do what amounts to radio commentary whose voice is atrocious?

I don't care if Rivers is a better commentator with better insight than Jackson and Van Gundy combined, and spoiler alert he is not, you don't put this guy on the air. He makes you hit the mute button before the words even come out.

Espn and other sports distributors are just about the only thing keeping paid live tv going. It will get sold before it ever goes outta business. I read Comcast was rumored to want it. Someone’s gonna get raked across the coals for it then have exclusive college football playoff access and try to put it on a streaming service.
