There were 617 cases during the five-year period. In the majority of cases where an autopsy was carried out, the cause of death was coronary heart disease.

so 617 footballers died while playing in a 5y period before covid, vaccines and whatever - roughly 10 players each month... of course there are more footballers than basketball players around the world, but you have to be able to get a clue here...

It’s almost as if we are in a society where both the left and the right use all misfortune to further a political agenda that conveniently happens to line up with what their assigned teams are told to think by the people in charge of their movements and/or the media, and online echo chambers they frequent. Bad things happen without proving or disapproving anybody’s political agenda, but you would never know it at this point. After tragedy you can predict what most people think about it before they open their mouth just off their political stance on unrelated subjects. 100,000,000 people repeating talking points they heard on TV or read on the Internet while claiming theirs is the side of freethinking and not being a sheep or a cultist.

almost nobody has anything to say that doesn’t lineup neatly with what they’re sad is supposed to think on subjects as varied as medical diagnosis, theology, various sciences….

most people think exactly what their politically allegiances would lead you to believe they think and they spring up like mushrooms after a rain storm, to coat any misfortune with their takes before the other side can lay claim.

As different as the viewpoints can be the tactics are remarkably similar, despite both sides claiming to hate the other side using them.
