Man, people are dumb. I said they should be favorites against the Grizzlies...look what happened.
I said they should be favorites against the Warriors....look what happened.
I guess it's a minority of fans that actually understand basketball. That, and this pathetic Bronie fluffer narrative about the Lakers being a bunch of scrubs actually got traction.

The Nuggets are the first team that might actually be the favorite in reality.
No Dwight to throw at Jokic this time.
But the Lakers might actually be the best team in the league post trade deadline. I am unsure. Which is funny, because they might have been last year as well had LeBron and AD steered the front office to Westbrook.

majority of fans?
What are you talking about? You have no idea how odds work, do you?
Its the experts/bookies that put the Nuggets as favorites.
Their track record is the best of anyone throughout sports history.
The fans are actually in majority picking Lakers, and yet bookies considering that, STILL have Lakers as underdogs.

Dude didn't even know how the all-star voting worked, which is why he thought Westbrook and Reaves were gonna make it. Leave him alone.

You can call them underdogs because of betting odds but Lakers have 2 of the 3 best players in the series, the better defense & more depth.
Lakers are only a very slight underdog, and that's because they don't have HCA, which was the case in the first 2 rounds as well.
If you're a degenerate, might as well put some big money down on the Lakers in this series.

Kobe would never win two series in a row as an underdog like LeBron just did.

Spurs won 58 games and had HCA in 2001 and got swept lol. Lakers won 4 straight on the road in the POs since they swept the Kings going into the WCF and KB put up 39/10 averages in those 4 road games.

LA continues winning as underdogs...and it makes their haters boil
Denver will be tough, though. The Lakers have a few matchups that definitely go their way. They also wont gas from chasing around the GOAT shooting backhourt.
Everyone wants to see that AD and Joker matchup. In 2020, though, AD had the help of Dwight who did a pretty good job on Joker. Wondering what other bodies they'll send at him. Vando possibly? Maybe Ham throws a curveball and plays Mo Bamba a few minutes. He hasn't gotten burn these playoffs, but neither did Lonnie Walker up until game 5.
Should be a good series

news flash, your cringe/delusional opinion doesn't reflect reality. the 7th seed are favorites against the 2nd and 6th, idiot.

Word.
I'm not saying Ham WILL play him, but if the Lakers are out of options... Who knows? Either way AD and Vando have their hands full
