Re: Can Doc Rivers do it again?
if De'Anthony Melton can play like Tyus Jones, Austin Rivers, your prototypical Duke point guard, controlling the tempo, making sure plays don't start unless the offense is set. Sixers close.

Re: Can Doc Rivers do it again?
3-1 leads blown are rare.
No coach has blown more than 1 3-1 lead.
The fact that Doc was a part of 3 3-1 blown leads, is pretty insane lol.

Re: Can Doc Rivers do it again?
Celtics look cooked, but I also feel that Philly only has a few more chances left to make it to the big dance before Harden falls off completely and Embiid eventually starts to slow down.
The Celtics on the other hand are probably built to be contending for the Title for years to come.

Doc is a preacher coach like Mark Jackson. He's susceptible to being outcoached by superior strategy HCs. Boston doesn't have Brad Steven's coaching anymore though so he's not really at a disadvantage. I don't get why they moved him out of his coaching position. What a ****ing disaster hiring that clown who was banging his coworkers wives. Affirmative action backfiring big time.

Re: Can Doc Rivers do it again?
Not that a coach isn't to blame when it happens specially over and over again, but last game was atrocious from the players side.If they were all contested shots, sure, blame the coach for not making adjustments and letting it happen. But they were almost all open wide looks and Tatum on the other hand went beserk.
Embiid was 3-6 in the 4th being guarded like hell, didn't even get the ball for last half of that qrtr and the rest of the team who were wide open during the whole time were bricking shots like there's no tomorrow and they were altogether 2-14 in the 4th... (without Embiid)
Not sayind Doc shouldn't have called a timeout and tried sth different, but when you have guys that can make 3's have so many totally open looks and they brick them all, i'm sorry but they deserve the blame aswell. Also i think we can all agree Boston is the much better team, losing 4-3 to them is no shame.
In the 4th:
Embiid 3-6
T.Harris 0-0
PJ Tucker: 0-1
Maxey 1-3
Harden 0-4
Melton 0-4
House Jr. 0-1
...
i mean...
