He's just too good so he was unable to go 6/24. Appreciate his effort tho. #ForKobe

He has been honoring Kobe in LA to be honest, he was playing for the Lakers in both games.

I'm 100% certain that if the Warriors win tomorrow, Klay is going to go gun ho about Game 6 Klay and 100% shoot the team out of the series on Friday. Fully expecting another shooting disaster-class on Friday if the series is even extended. Funny thing is that the baked airhead isn't as elite on game 6s as he thinks, he's basically done it in 3 of them and thinks it's automatic now (he was the worst player on the court from both teams in last year's G6 finals).

Well his play has rapidly plummeted, similar to his hero's final moments

People keep expecting old Klay to return. We see glimpses now and then but overall he's just a lesser player than the pre-2020 Klay.

Klay can be summed up by 5 of the hottest scoring performances ever: 60 points in 29 minutes, 37 points in 1 quarter, record 14 3s / 52 points, 43 points on 4 dribbles, 10/10 3-point shooting game

and some amazingly crucial big time game 6 performances: 2016 WCF, 2018 WCF, 2019 WCSF, 2019 Finals

other than that hes been "just" a regular all-star level 22 ppg scorer.

But its those big time WCF(or defacto WCF) performances and uncanny streaks that make him so highly regarded.

He’s never been an efficient scorer and his defense has always gotten super overrated.

Klay has never shown up as a big impact in advanced stats gauging defense. Not in one single metric.

Klay is built up to be some 3 and D god when in reality he has always been at league average when it comes to efficiency plus being a mediocre at best defender.

Klay shot 47% TS vs the Lakers. For reference Russel Westbrook shot 51% TS in his series vs the Suns.

Klay is basically a worse shooting westbrook with worse defense, rebounding, ball handling, passing. So when people say it’s impossible to win with westbrook. Klay is way worse.

Even if we take Klays entire career. His career TS is 57% regular season, 55% playoffs. That’s literally league average.

Average efficiency, average defense, no handles, black hole.

This is with playing with Steph Curry as well.

Klay is one of the most overrated players in NBA history

I doubt he would take a paycut and come play for LA when his contract is over. His dad is a broadcaster for Laker games, that would be a dream come for him.

you said you doubt it and then say it would be a dream come true for him?

Anyway, draymond said he wants to play it out with the same guys until the end of his career, and i think klay wants to do the same.
